Due to its low density (4 to 5 times lower than steel) and enormously high rigidity,
carbon fiber is especially suitable for lightweight construction. The accurate alignment
of the fibers effects a much higher stability than steel. Dents and deformations are
unknown to these slides, simply because they are impossible!

Carbon is absolutely resistant to corrosion caused by gastric acids or fats.
No chemical corrosion can take place as it can using a brass slide.
Residue can easily be removed with conventional cleaning fluids.
